LANCASHIRE PROBATION TRUST SEEKS APPRENTICES

Lancashire Probation Trust is providing an opportunity for three young people to learn new skills and develop their experience while being paid as an apprentice.

The Trust is looking for three apprentices to work in its headquarters in Garstang Road in Preston.

The apprenticeships in human resources, finance and information technology and in the executive support team will provide the opportunity for young people to work towards a qualification that could help lead to a job

Kerry McKevitt, Director of Human Resources said:

“We understand that now more than ever it is really difficult for young people to have the chance to gain experience and develop new skills.

“As an organisation we believe in our aims of changing lives and improving communities so thought what better way to do this than offer a chance to young people wanting to start out in their careers.

“The successful apprentices will get the chance to work in an organisation that puts our people at the heart of everything we do. We have demonstrated this by achieving the Gold Investors in People standard, awarded to just three per cent of employers nationally, and are looking forward to welcoming our new apprentices to the headquarters team.”
